Why?

It's sooooooo frustrating!!! Why, oh, why do people have to be so stupid? 

Last night, Steve and I were taking the dogs out, and saw that the downstairs neighbor was having a party. Why would that be frustrating? 

 BECAUSE THER'S A PANDEMIC GOING ON!

It's frustrating because, Steve helped take the dogs out last night, but that's pretty much all he can do because he is still recovering from this awful virus. The fatigue he is feeling is terrible. And he didn't even get the worst of it (thank God!).
People think this thing is a joke. They think it's not that bad. Big deal if they get it. But, as Steve said last night, "They just don't know anyone who's had it yet."

You know what's even sadder? The guy who was having the party is in the military. Great example of being responsible. Nice way to do what's right. 

I have to say, during this pandemic, I have lost so much respect for the human race. I'm just disgusted by everything I see. People actually protesting because they have to wear a mask and help stop the spread of a deadly virus.
Pathetic.

This pandemic is only going to get worse, so sadly, the ignorant ones will eventually have reality shoved in their faces. This fall and winter are supposed to be very bad. At least Steve won't be out there working in it.

      Or homicide. I've had two patients now die after contracting Covid from their adult children who had to (a) go to the lake and (b) go to the bar, go home where they lived with their elder parents and spread it to them. The adult children are fine. One's mom and one's dad have since passed.

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return. But there was this story that I had wanted to tell for years. I had almost finished the first draft months
