Okay, that's the synopsis for Midnight Sun! And I am not ashamed to say that I have been waiting for this book to come out for ten years!

That may sound a bit dramatic, but it's true. This book was supposed to come out many years ago, and Stephanie Meyer had a sample of it on her website for a while. I read it while at work one day (😏), and I loved it.

The story is the first book of the series, just retold as it happened through Edward's POV. It really is cool to read, and I can't wait for it to come out ON MY BIRTHDAY AUGUST 4TH!

What a dream, to have success like Stephanie Meyer had with this series. Midnight Sun doesn't come out for another 44 days, but it's already #8 on the best-sellers list.
I can't wait to read it!

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return.
