I want to talk about books again today. But not my own. I want to talk about my favorite series. 
The Tiger's Curse!

The books are by author Colleen Houck. They are the story of a young girl named Kelsey, who gets sucked into a 300-year-old curse when she encounters a mysterious white tiger named Ren at a local circus. 
Kelsey soon discovers that the tiger she was drawn to is actually an Indian prince who has been cursed. He and his brother, Kishan, had been cursed to live as tigers, and Kelsey is whisked around the world to help break that curse.

The first thing that attracted me to these books were the covers. They are beautiful. There is actually five books, Tiger's Dream was the last book to come out, but it's not shown in the picture I found. 
Once Kelsey meets Ren and Kishan, they initial curse begins to break down, and they can turn back to human form for four hours at a time.

There is a love triangle that is almost as difficult to root for a favorite as it was with Bella, Edward, and Jacob in Twilight. Both Ren and Kishan are gorgeous, which always helps (Kishan is a black tiger when not in human form).
Like in Twilight, Kishan is sexier on some levels, as was Jacob. But Ren is so romantic, it's sexy, just as Edward was. 

But, as there was a team Edward or team Jacob with Twilight, with Tiger's Curse, I have to claim team Kishan. Maybe a few of you will be interested enough by this blog post to pick up the books and see for yourself.

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. And that had been a difficult thing for me to handle for years. So I feel I don't need to try.  2018 was a bad year. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return. But there was this story that I had wanted to tell for years. I had almost finished the first draft months
